Nick and Ceri Bush started their printing business in Pontypridd in 2005 and have grown the enterprise by printing for prestigious clients such as Ladbrokes, Frankie & Benny’s and The Royal Mint.

In 2014 they needed additional Heidelberg printing equipment. They turned to their business bank manager who, knowing their need for a speedy service, sensibly put them in touch with Armada Asset Finance.

A decision to support them was made within a couple of days. Nick was able to maintain a first-class service for his clients as the machines and funding were there when he needed it.

“My bank manager referred me to Armada as he was unable to help me buy the printer I needed. I am so glad he did as dealing with Armada was so simple and quick.”

Rob Mann of Millmerran Research & Manufacturing Associates is helping to keep Australians safer at home and at work.

With a history of major bush fires and consequent loss of life Australia requires door manufacturers to create higher levels of fire barriers at entrances. Rob researched the problems and had devised systems to contain fire at door entrances.

Having found the solution to this major problem Rob needed to import major machinery from Canada & the Far East to manufacture his new products. Rob’s accountant introduced him to Armada and the asset finance agreement was signed and the suppliers paid before you could say “raging inferno”.

Alex & Regena spent two years looking for the perfect premises for their New York styles deli in the UK. They based their plans and business style on the Dean and DeLuca deli concept. It took them a further year to obtain all the planning consents and licences etc, together with designing the interior and organising the best equipment and sourcing their suppliers.

Having been introduced to Alex and assessing his proposal the decision to give them support only took a few hours. We were asked to asset finance all their refrigerated cabinets and serve-overs, together with back-up refrigerated storage and the Epos systems, costing in total £110k.

Armada worked with Alex and Regena for the next few weeks, holding their hands and using our vast experience to advise and encourage them. All the planning and effort had paid off handsomely.

An article that Armada circulated recently about safety decking proved to be an answer to a problem being experienced by a well established fish farm in Scotland.

The aluminium walkways surrounding their fish tanks in the loch, being constantly sprayed by seawater, were causing a safety hazard.

The open mesh decking made from resins & quartz grit gave their staff a high degree of safety and stability, even in icy conditions.

Thinking that the decking would not be fundable by asset finance, the owners of the fish farm were delighted when Armada was willing to support them with £50k's worth of panels.

A major change took place in the scaffolding industry in 2000, when, for the first time Armada funded tubing and fittings on a 12 month asset finance agreement. Immediately, across the country, scaffolders realised that equipment leasing with Armada was significantly cheaper than open-ended rental.

The speed of decision making at Armada, together with major tax benefits and positive friendly support for an industry that had never experienced this before has created lasting relationships.

Whether scaffolders are involved in small spec house building projects, covering national monuments and cathedrals or assisting the build of an Olympic village, asset funding over 12 months, 24 months or 36 months is FUNDamentally right.

Considerable time, thought and investment was put into this stunning dining experience. As much thought was put into choosing an asset finance company to fund all the catering equipment and furniture.

Pravid & Ken's bankers introduced them to Armada, who have been specialists in catering equipment leasing for nearly 40 years.

At Armada we are delighted to help all regional and ethnic businesses and our role in assisting Indian & Chinese restaurants and takeaways goes back to the 1970's.

Dorchester, the beautiful county town of Dorset, is famous for the assizes held by Judge Jeffreys aka The Hanging Judge, who sent many a supporter of the Duke of Monmouth to the gallows. On a happier note, Dorchester is the site of the historic Kings Arms Hotel - Best Western, that has been giving hospitality and comfort to travellers and holiday makers since 1724. The hotel is mentioned in Thomas Hardy's The Mayor of Casterbridge.

In order to maintain the high level of comfort expected of a Best Western hotel, owners, Simon & Anecia Pickup know they can depend on the speedy support of Armada Asset Finance to fund all the hotel's equipment and furnishings.
