No reason to beef about Armada's service

No reason to beef about Armada's service

In 1997 Chris Taylor planned the opening of his butchery business, Taylor Made, in the Shires Shopping Centre in Trowbridge. Needing significant refrigerated units, coldrooms, Epos and security systems etc he approach Armada Asset Finance for support in acquiring the equipment he needed.

Armada was delighted to help Chris and his new venture and subsequently Armada funded equipment required for the additional wholesale meat business. In April 2013 Chris asked for further assistance when he needed another coldroom and vacuum packing equipment. Always pleased to see old clients returning, Armada swiftly funded his new purchases.

“I was delighted with Armada’s support when I first started my business. I have used other asset funders but only Armada seems to do what’s on the tin.”

“We have been going to Ali Raj for many years and have always enjoyed, but tonight was outstanding. The place has had an amazing refurbishment and is definitely the best food I’ve had in a long time.” So raved Katie on Tripadvisor about the Ali Raj Brasserie in Llanelli.

How many times have you had great food in a restaurant, pub or hotel just for the experience to be ruined by the atmosphere or lack of comfort?

Successful restaurateurs know that to get the customers coming back they need good food, good service, good atmosphere, appropriate pricing and comfort.

Anwar Ali understood this when he asked Armada to asset finance his plush furniture for his recent refurbishment. NOT ALL FUNDERS will finance furniture.

So pleased was Anwar with Armada’s support that he commented –

“The service Armada provided was better than I have ever experienced!”

Followers of the Broadchurch ITV drama series will recognise Ellipse Italian Caffe Bistro in West Bay, Dorset. Set on the front, overlooking the bay, Ellipse was the venue for a scene in the last episode of Broadchurch, as well as being a watering hole for the actors and crew.

This stunning coffee bar, with superb architecture and views, specialise in pizzas and pasta but beware, the stampede of ladies trying to get their fix of the amazing hot chocolate might overwhelm you. Check out the chocolate on their web site.

When Steve and his team were looking for asset finance support for their equipment it was Armada and their 40 years of experience, funding the catering industry, that gave them confidence.

“Armada were very helpful. The process was very easy, simple and quick.”

More than skin deep

More than skin deep

Not that many years ago, a man standing in a pub wearing aftershave would attract sideways looks from those around him. A stylish well cut hairstyle would have caused some to back away.

Fortunately, times have changed and now we have a significant beauty industry dedicated to the physical and psychological benefits of improving people’s appearances.

When Dr Peter Forrester required the latest equipment for facial treatments for both ladies and gentlemen at his skin clinic in Esher, Surrey, he was directed to Armada Asset Finance for funding support for his equipment.

With 40 years experience, an open mind and a customer care attitude, it took Armada only 24 hours to agree to support Peter.

So pleased was he with the service and attention he received that 10 months later, in February 2013, Peter asked for Armada’s support to purchase facial vein removal equipment.

“Armada Asset Finance are approachable, helpful and competitive.”

The 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', Broadway, is the quintessential English village with the finest hotels and retail, chestnut trees down the main street and all the property constructed with Cotswold stone.

However, until November 2012 Broadway had been without a fish and chips restaurant for 40 years. Thankfully, Andrew & Gaynor Riley of the superb Russells restaurant with rooms have corrected this omission in the stylish way only they know.

As with everything Andrew does he sourced the best quality supplier of catering equipment and the most experienced funding experts to supply asset finance for his frying range and epos system. Andrew appreciated Armada's 40 years of quality service and know-how.

An HSBC manager in Bristol was unable to offer funding to his client , Robin Drysdale of Anytime Fitness. However, he did the next best thing by introducing him to Olly Nash of Armada.

Anytime Fitness is a franchise gymnasium operation imported from the USA and is unusual in that it is open 24-7-365. When Robin asked for asset finance assistance for his 2 gyms in Bristol, Clifton and Bradley Stoke, his knowledge of his industry and his commitment made it an easy decision to fund the new machines Robin needed to expand.

Robin's reaction to the support he was given is not suprising-

"I was impressed with the speed of decision making and the personal level of service Armada offered."

With stunning views overlooking the English Channel and a history of having the sunniest days in the UK you wouldn't want your round of golf to be spoilt by unkempt fairways and poor greens.

That's where Armada came in. The Ventnor Golf Club in the Isle of Wight, founded in 1892, needed to maintain the course immaculately for its members and its influx of Summer visitors.

When the club needed to replace its grass cutter they asked Armada for equipment finance.

"We have nothing but the highest praise for Armada's professionalism and speed. Unlike our bank, they cut right through the red tape and our finance was in place in days rather than weeks."

Stewart Blackmore, Ventnor Golf Club

We may not be as old as Ventnor Golf Club but we certainly know how to keep pur clients happy.

The Tariq family, owners of Sapna Caterers, started commercial life in the late 80s with a restaurant in Sudbury Town. Now they have developed into major outside caterers focused mainly but not exclusively on Asian weddings, in impressive venues such as the Natural History Museum, City Hall Cardiff & the Institute of Directors Pall Mall HQ.

A supplier of catering equipment in London, knowing Armada's history and experience in the catering industry, introduced Sapna to us with a request for asset finance support of £70k for top of the range equipment.

Father of the business, Mr Mohammad Tariq, was so impressed with the service they received -

"Armada is a joy to work with, very efficient and professional, they did exactly what was on the tin. Such a difference in today's climate".

Beanz means machinez

Beanz means machinez

Robert Norman & Jane Dunford have been very successful at supplying coffee to their customer base in pubs, restaurants and a variety of commercial outlets.

They understand the sense of retaining their capital for growing the business. When a new customer wants to hire a coffee machine, they don’t tie their funds up in the equipment, they asset finance the coffee machine from Armada and then rent it to their customer, protecting their supply of coffee.

This arrangement with Armada has played a significant part in their growth.

“It is always a pleasure dealing with Armada, they have been a tremendous help and support to us in the growth of our business.”
