The South West of England has so much to offer visitors and locals alike. From the obvious attractions of the stunning coastlines and the glorious sandy beaches to the rolling farmland and moors and valleys to the history and architecture of Exeter Cathedral, the oldest bridge in the country together with our outstanding naval history and traditions.
For art enthusiasts there is the Barbara Hepworth Collection and Tate St Ives in Cornwall and Damien Hirst in North Devon. In addition, every village and cove seems to have one or more resident artists and no wonder, with such amazing scenery to draw or paint.
The region is also a paradise for photographers, sailors and gourmands, with some of the finest fish restaurants to be enjoyed anywhere in the country, as well as numbers of vineyards.
Shoppers are well catered for in Exeter and Plymouth and many individual retail secrets such as Salcombe and Dartmouth.
